swipe可指結帳時「刷卡的動作」，刷其他如門卡或識別證，也可以用swipe。如果是指以信用卡付款，則可說pay by credit (card) 或是charge。

請在刷卡機過卡以便付款。
2. For some reason, the door didn’t open when I swiped my card.
